Micro-Training: Implementing Meaningful and Safe Gross Motor Play

This training highlights the importance of vigorous gross motor play in supporting children's development in all stages of growth. Gross motor involves more than just letting children go outside! Participants will discover different types of active adult interactions, appropriate equipment, and how to create safe spaces to encourage a variety of skill development. Participants will also establish action steps toward designing effective gross motor play activities both indoors and outdoors.
